SIAMA Bonus points:
As from 1st January 2015 SIAMA has started with the SIAMA's Commitment to Contribute Program for SIAMA members. Every SIAMA member who has booked flights with SIAMA automatically receives bonus points. You can use the bonus points for a reduction on future tickets, or payment for ancillary services like seat reservations and additional luggage. When your points have reached a value EUR 50 or more you can also choose to give this as a gift to your organization. The value of each bonus point depends on the extras SIAMA receives from the airlines. As SIAMA operates non-profit, we like to give the bonus amounts of the airlines to our members. The Airlines base these extra’s mainly on the amount of tickets SIAMA has issued during a period of time. The more Missionaries worldwide book with SIAMA the more bonus points can be accumulated. The value of the bonus points will be determined each half year with retroactive effect.
We are happy to inform you that as per 1 June 2017 the value of each point stays fixed at EUR 0,50.
If you are curious to know how many bonus points you have saved so far, please contact our office for this information.
Bonus points conditions:
SIAMA bonus points will automatically be assigned to SIAMA members booking flights on or after 1 January 2015.
The value of all pending bonus points will be determined by SIAMA each half year with retroactive effect
You can only redeem the points if you are a member of SIAMA.
The bonus points can only be used for reduction on future tickets or for a gift to your Mission or to one of the 3 assigned charities SIAMA has decided on for the year you redeem the bonus points.
If you do not continue your membership, the bonus points will automatically be assigned to other SIAMA members in the future.
If a SIAMA member wants to redeem the points for a gift, please note a minimum amount has to be saved before a payment can be made, which is EUR 50 or USD 60.
For a reduction on future tickets, there is no minimum amount and we can immediately apply this to your new booking (or you can save your bonus points for later bookings).
You can only donate your bonus points to relatives or a co-worker of your Mission and only with the consent of SIAMA.
SIAMA does not accept any liability whatsoever for acts and/or omissions of the bonus points program.
SIAMA has the right to amend the rules and conditions of the bonus point program at any time.
We are pleased to see more and more people undertaking Mission trips and Volunteer work abroad or visiting family and relatives in the field. SIAMA feels privileged to be part of this wonderful work and we are happy to contribute, although in a small way!

Kindly note these conditions are valid for

We can send offers and invoices in EUR, USD, CAD, CHF, JPY and GBP, please advise your preference when you contact us. We prefer to receive payment by bank transfer, you can pay in any currency. Obtaining the appropriate travel documents is always your own responsibility. We are aware that getting a visa can be a very complicated process and therefore we at SIAMA thought of a way to make this easier on you.
We are proud to have a preferred partnership with CIBTvisas who can offer you the expertise to know precisely what is required to get you the document you need. CIBT alleviates the confusion for travellers by maintaining a proprietary database that has the most up-to-date travel visa requirements for over 200 countries. They offer the tools, experience, and global network necessary to effectively reduce the time associated with obtaining travel documents.
Step one: Use the form on the left to determine if you might need a travel visa for your next international trip.
Step two: Order your required documents via CIBT, or arrange them yourself at your local embassy.

Other Travel Tools:
Travel to the USA; ESTA:
Before flying to or transit through the USA, you will need to check if you need an Electronic Travel Authorization ('ESTA'), except if you have a US visa (or are a US citizen, of course).
An ESTA allows you to stay in the US under the Visa Waiver program for up to 90 days and allows travel to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. An ESTA is valid for two years, (or less if your passport expires in that time). For more information and authorization requests please visit the ESTA website.

IMPORTANT: Information for traveling to/via South Africa:
Important new requirements
for minors up to 18 years
travelling to, from or transferring through South Africa. If you're travelling to South Africa or transiting through a South African airport with a child you must be able to produce the child's full unabridged birth certificate. The full unabridged birth certificate should list the child's details and both parents' details. The abridged (or short) birth certificate which only lists the child's details won't be accepted. We urge everyone to read the new rules regarding travel to South Africa with minor children, here (information from the Dept. of Home Affairs, South Africa).
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise that passengers should have
two blank pages in their passport
on arrival. If passengers do not have blank pages they may be refused entry and will be returned to the country of departure on the next flight. Besides this, you also must check with the embassy, if you need to arrange a visa beforehand (and/or if your passport validity is in order for your visit).
SIAMA World Mission Travel is not responsible for the failure of a traveler to comply international travel requirements and/or the ability to secure the proper travel documents before traveling.
